The most effective way to change the world is to educate and inspire the next generation. Going Global Summits on Citizen Diplomacy are designed to expose the realities of the global marketplace. Each event includes discussions on the local impact of globalization, the responsibilities of global citizens, the skills necessary to compete in a global economy, along with many opportunities to pursue international careers and business relationships.
These Summits are initiated through a seed grant from Global Ties U.S. and supported by community sponsors. Past event sponsors include The Jacksonville Port Authority, The Haskell Company, University of North Florida (UNF), Duval County Public Schools (DCPS), Florida State College at Jacksonville (FSCJ), Farah and Farah, ICS Logistics, Southside Rotary Club, Visit Jacksonville, and Alpha Graphics.
